As from July 1st 2021, new reforms under the Design and Building Practioners Act 2020 (NSW) took effect.
Designers and builders are now required to provide compliance declarations before working on Class 2 Buildings (multi-unit residential buildings/single storey attached dwellings where there is a common space below).
Certain designs need to be declared for compliance with the Building Code of Australia or other standards, and need to be lodged.
Design, building practitioners and engineers are required to rectify any design issues before construction begins. This will avoid heavy costs and severe safety consequences in the future.
We are proud to announce that we are Design Building Practitioners and thus are able to revitalise and restore your facade.
We are also currently working with numerous builders and architectures to ensure that these designs and plans are suitably documented in line with the new Act.
