Modern Day Technology Meets Art Deco Charm

Double Bay in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs is one of Sydney's more exclusive suburbs with dozens or prestige homes, yet ironically it is also home to a number of older apartment blocks.
Over the last few months, we have overseen works on an Art Deco apartment complex in Pine Street Double Bay which was suffering brick tie corrosion which was in turn leading to brickwork which was unstable, loose or buckling.
We were called in to help devise a remediation plan which would identify and isolate the issue through the implementation of sound structural rectification. We are currently underway with this project (as at May 2017)  with extensive brick tie installation being undertaken.
