Our works at the large DHL facility included inspection, measuring of existing balustrades and performance calculation of the glazing, wind loads, fixing systems etc. These numbers where then compared to the Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia (BCA). It was concluded that the balustrades were compliant within these standards and BellMont provided Prime Constructions with a letter of certification.
Prime Constructions is one of the leading building contractors in the state of NSW. They offer a range of services for industrial, commercial, retail and institutional projects with over 35 years of experience. A few notable projects of theirs include Judith Poole Sports Hall at Abbotsleigh School, Mazda in Sutherland and the Kurrajong Building at Barker College. You can read more on their projects here. We look forward to working with Prime Constructions again in the future.
Balustrades are intended for safety. Having a faulty balustrade can be incredibly dangerous and puts people at serious risk. That’s why it is necessary to install balustrades that are meeting the BCA standards. If you need assistance, contact BellMont today.
